Simon Posted July 9, 2017 Share #41 Â Posted July 9, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone used the older-style close focus adapter with goggles (sold separately and bundled in kits with the former pre-"big top" Macro-Elmar-M 90) stacked with the new Macro-Adapter-M sans goggles? Â If so, which lenses have you used and what issues have you found, if any?

lct Posted July 9, 2017 Share #42 Â Posted July 9, 2017 No but magnification would be huge then i suspect.
Ecar Posted July 9, 2017 Share #43  Posted July 9, 2017 OK, in the spirit of my self-designated "lens test week-end" and since I have already done a couple in reply to questions from other forum members, why not try this?  Here's a crappy iPhone picture of the contraption: M240 + both macro adapters stacked + vintage Yashinon 50/1.8  Welcome, dear visitor! Needless to say, the goggles are useless, so you need LV/EVF.  Basically, it's like stacking a couple of OUFROs (or other extension tubes) with the ability to adjust somewhat the magnification ratio through the helicoid of the new macro adapter. Simon Posted July 9, 2017 Share #44 Â Posted July 9, 2017 Nice one, thanks! Manage to take any decent shots? I might try this soon myself!
Ecar Posted July 9, 2017 Share #45  Posted July 9, 2017 Here's the only half-decent one I managed to take - but I didn't try very hard either. Bear in mind this is handheld with a 1959 lens wide open @ f/1.8. Converted with LR default settings.  Welcome, dear visitor!
