It doesn't matter people is able to destory film with PS after scanning ...........

People can do anything and everything but frankly I hardly really ever see film scans with "destroyed" color; but I see lots and lots and lots of digital color images with destroyed color, and PP doesn't help or hurt.

of course it is great color - it is FILM!! :)

(Ektar, I am guessing, although the second looks like Kodachrome)

Actually it was Portra 400. Development in UK proved to be a disappointment. Grain on by Ilford HP5+ was about as big as the stones on the beach. Everything was grainy and high contrast. I know it wasn't me because I had a few rolls undeveloped, got them done at Color House in NYC and everything was restored to order! Next time I will mail the film to NYC and receive the scanned downloads on the lap top. Live and learn.........

It may not look like Portra 400 in an obvious way but it is still lovely.  I had the same experience in Israel.  The C41 development produced much warmer and grainier Portra 400 than I am used to getting from my NYC labs...

Amazing colour on these cliffs, but shouldn't these have been in the landscape and travel forum?

Jaap - I am not speaking for Steve as I do not represent him in this matter, but the engaged traffic in the L&T sub-forum sucks....  The Life is a Beach thread is an even better choice for this than L&T...  Can't believe you didn't suggest that...  :o

Thank you for these. Great colour and depiction.

These red cliffs are not unfamiliar to me as I lived nearby in Honiton some years ago.

Quintessential Devon seaside town.

Yes, and I enjoy them dearly, as do most.  That's about all they do, though, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy - quietly, quietly quietly
