Question for Flash Expert

yes. The signal does get picked up by an optical trigger. Again - the objective here was to trigger the flash wirelessly as this is generally the most versatile method. My flash was set to 1/32 of power and it still worked - probably due to the HSS mode it has. I suspect this slows down the flash duration.

Great help indeed!

I’ve managed to get my fully manual Lumopro LP180 to cover full illumination (without black lines) at full power 1/1 when I turn on the optical slave mode. Which I used my SF58 mounted on my SL hotshoe and set to M-HSS at power output 1/64 ( completely black) when fired alone with my SL set to M mode F2 with my SL75 at 1/8000sec and ISO 50.
