Long SS noise reduction (D-lux 109)

Hello, I was wondering. I plan to try to shoot startrails with my D-lux 109 and I planned to do more 30s+ long shots. I have tried this and there is probably 30s long shutter speed noise reduction. I am wondering

1) how much of battery it takes (the reduction)? Will it cut the battery life by half?

2) Does it matter for startrails to not shoot instantly after next shot and wait like a half minute.

3) is it worth for this kind of photography to reduce the noice or it will not be visible anyway?

Thank you very much

Can't really help you specifically with the D-Lux, but if it is possible to disable the long noise reduction, then do it. You can then shoot a "dark frame" and subtract that from your image(s), it's what I usually do.

Try it first though, as and example the old Fuji X-E1 I use for astro is clean enough to not have to worry about a dark.
