Bark at the Park Night

The Kansas City Royals host a dog night a couple of times each season and last night was the first this year.  I normally take a Nikon and 24-70 lens because of the fast autofocus and ability to zoom wide and mid.  This year I took only the 240 and 35 and 50mm Crons.  I put the 35mm on first and ended up not taking it off.  I wanted to capture subjects and especially the setting so a little wide was appropriate.  I must admit that hitting focus and exposure was a challenge.  I ended up shooting several shots using auto-exposure because I had to concentrate on focusing and composition.

I had to do some cropping (but not much), white balance, and pulling shadows and reducing blacks because of the black dog we took.  Regarding white balance, some shots were just too challenging for me so I converted to black and white.  I'll post a few shots for fun.  Critique is always appreciated.

The Royals beat the San Fransisco Giants 2-0.

You can see a little flare at the top middle.  After the sun went down the lighting was challenging (at least for me).
