Date Information Incorrect - Does not advance

I have had a very strange issue with my M10. I am on the latest firmware version 1.3.4.0

The date information is incorrect when imported into Lightroom CC. All of my photos show the exact same date and time. I have changed the date in the menu settings and it will change the date but will not advance it. I have also reset the camera several times with the same result.

For example if I set the date to 4/3/2017 10:00am all of the photos taken after that will show the same date and time. It will not advance.

I spoke with Leica USA Support and their advice was to only set the time and not the date and then go back in and set the date after and see if that works. Which it doesn't.

The camera functions great, no lockups and the photos look great.

I am hoping that I am missing something and someone out there can help.

Is your camera brand new?

I think the internal battery needs to get fully charged before the date will stick. Give it some time and see if it starts working. Make sure you keep a charged battery in the camera and may even try leaving the camera on for a full battery cycle as well.

I meant did you just buy it recently...if you've had it since January it should be charged by now.
