Pingus Posted March 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings: as a current X Vario owner, I'm thinking of picking up an X 113 or X-E as a smaller more compact travel camera. I'm wondering if the smaller size of the X-E outweighs any advantages the X 113 might have in terms of lens, etc. I also have the EVF for the X Vario which I think fits the X-E but not X. Any thoughts or advice would be welcome and appreciated!
Advertisement Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Hi Pingus, Take a look here X type 113 v X-E ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jonatdonuts Posted March 30, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 30, 2017 Similar picture quality but the 113 has a 1.7 aperture, slightly faster autofocus, and a much better manual focusing system. If you need the speed, the 113 is the camera to get. It's prettier too...
Pingus Posted March 30, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted March 30, 2017 I was thinking the same thing but not sure if the old style EVF fits the X . I hate to shell out $500 additional for the new EVF on top of the camera
jip Posted March 30, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 30, 2017 The X113 fits the Leica TL and Leica M10 style EVF. The X-E fits the EVF that also fits the M240 and the X-Vario
