I've said it previously on here, I think the new CV 50mm Heliar Classic f1.5 is one of the most interesting lenses currently available in Leica M mount and it's a relative bargain.

Thanks evikne. This photo was taken 4 months ago when I was cycling around the South Island. The camera was just above the water level and the ducks were very close to my lens.

BTW - that photo is a primo example of what I love about the Mandler lenses. (Of which the 50mm regular Summicron is the last example still in production).

That wonderful emphasis of greeny-cyans (sky and water), that also (counter-intuitively) pops the contrasting reddish-browns (duck breast and background cliffs).
