Hey Ned, nice to meet you. Heard a lot about you.   Of course you are right, it's more or less just a stylistic device that I might have overdone. It surely stands to reason whether it does even help the photographs or just neatly disguise the fact that there is not so much to tell anyhow.   But hey, I don't wanna win the Putlitzer, I just had some fun with the camera, so don't be too hard on me.   Cheers J

Please register or sign in to view the hidden content. Hallo Gast! Du willst die Bilder sehen? Einfach registrieren oder anmelden!   I got this Kinoptik 50 about three years.  The K50 is a very distinctive and easy-to-use film lens... It has a superb resolution, low dispersion at APO, low violet fringing, cleanliness, impressionistic/hyperrotating out-of-focus bokeh. It is a lens with a good balance between practicality and individuality... Of course, the only bad thing is that it is expensive and it is not easy to find a lens in good condition...   Kinoptik Focale APO 50mm F2 + Leica M10D  Hello guest! First of all: hello everybody

      1. lens form about 1969r and it look like this:
Hello guest! Please register or sign in to view the hidden content. Hallo Gast! Du willst die Bilder sehen? Einfach registrieren oder anmelden! 2. lens from 1974 and this one is looking as is:
Hello guest! Please register or sign in to view the hidden content. Hallo Gast! Du willst die Bilder sehen? Einfach registrieren oder anmelden! In theory both are in good shape, after cla and working good. BUT is any difference beside desgin of lens from 1974 over older one? Price is nearyly the same.
Second set is more complete, lens hood etc.... but first one is in shop in my city, second one --- only shipping.

Hi All, I am sharing my short article few years back when I traveled around France for a month just carrying one body (ME) and one lens (50mm Summilux). It was a regret decision for the fist 1 week but I am enjoying the thrill after that :D. I wonder if you guys have the same experience with just relying on 1 lens for your long trip.

Having recently purchased an Industar-50 f3.5, I have an issue regarding focussing.
When set to infinity, it doesn't focus correctly, seemingly needing a slight turn beyond infinity.
Also when trying to focus on objects at 0.65m (the minimum focal distance of this lens), I need to stand about 1m away to focus properly.
I don't know if it's a problem with the camera or the lens.
      Any suggestions?
