Pecole Posted March 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 21, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) ...when walking in Tavira, Algarve, South Portugal. Tavira is a typically South Portuguese and very old city (there is an inscription celebrating a 14th century fight for a bridge that marked country´s independence). Refined local architecture is best discovered looking up (but minding where you put your feet, of course!). I made the following images two days ago. Welcome, dear visitor! Pecole Posted March 25, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted March 25, 2017 My favourite would be the first for the composition and the bold colours. Stefan Same for me, StS, and that's the reason why it came first. Maybe it is not "architecture" in the restrictive way it is accepted, but here in Portugal such funny "details", mainly found on chimneys and roofs, are quite common...at least on traditional constructions. Modern buildings are indeed more "efficient"...alas!
