DxO Optics Pro and DNG

Hello,

 

yesterday I tried to open DNG's with DxO Optics Pro directly and it says "file format not supported". I found in the internet, that it works with Adobe DNG. So I importet my photos into Lightroom CC as "copy as DNG". I have the plug-in for DxO Optics Pro in Lightroom but when I tried to open the images, I again got the error message.

Am I missing something here ?

DxO OpticsPro simply doesn't support the Leica M10 yet.

 

Like so many other non-Adobe software, DxO doesn't fully support the DNG format. I guess it has to do with OpticsPro's way of having very specific profiles for every single camera-and-lens combination. So you have to wait for the next update.

You could try running the files through Adobe's DNG converter.

Thank you very much for the replies - I assumed that, when I import them into Lightroom using the option "copy as DNG", it would convert them into a readable format.

DxO and DNG - that doesn't really match. (Older DNG files, e.g. those created by R8/DMR, aren't opened either).

 

DxO doesn't even accept or (re)open the DNG files it has created itself.
