SilentShutter Posted March 13, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 13, 2017 Nice shopshot. But ! I would have spend a little much more effort for such a great Character. The people around and the frame behind his head irritate me.
Brenton C Posted March 13, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 13, 2017 Nice shopshot. But ! I would have spend a little much more effort for such a great Character. The people around and the frame behind his head irritate me. What would you have done differently, Silent'? I'm curious. Not criticizing, though. As with many other of Epand's pics, this one really captures a story for me.
SilentShutter Posted March 13, 2017 Share #5 Posted March 13, 2017 The kid sitting behind Antonio - you see the head and its shoes. The picture right behind Antonios head. The guy on the very right side looking straight to the photographer is pulling the spectators eye from the main subject too. Just think about this for a minute ! How would it look without. How would it like if Antonio would look right in the camera ? Only my 2cent
epand56 Posted March 13, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted March 13, 2017 SilentShutter, I understand what you mean and I think you are right. I took the picture while we were chatting and could not ask anybody to get out of the picture. In the end, I like the natural moment and Antonio is a character stronger enough to bear other distractions. Thank you very much for pointing this out and for your 2cents. This forum should be the place where people can exchange opinion, advice and information on their pictures.

fotografr Posted March 16, 2017 Share #8 Posted March 16, 2017 This is a good discussion and the photograph is definitely worth the time and effort. What bothers me more than the distractions already mentioned is the extreme darkness of the face and hands. I would have worked on it to obtain a result more like this. Welcome, dear visitor! epand56 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted March 17, 2017 I would have worked on it to obtain a result more like this. Hello Fotograph, I agree with your suggestion, but maybe your try is too much pushed. This way looks like if there was a flash. I think that the best is in the middle of the two.
