Advertisement Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Hi abrewer, Take a look here Praise the Dancers. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mgcd Posted June 17, 2006 Share #2 Posted June 17, 2006 Allan - This is a very nice one indeed. Great feeling to it. Very nicely done.
stuny Posted June 24, 2006 Share #3 Posted June 24, 2006 Allan - It's nice to see you post in B&W again, though I treasure the instantly recognizable colors of your color shots. You've captured a lovely gracefulness here, with the performer's position and the movement of her dress. Stuart
odd Posted June 24, 2006 Share #4 Posted June 24, 2006 Allan - a lot of energy in that lady, soft and nice "colores". It seems as you have got a small DOF with your 35mm, did you use a small appereture or is it softend in photoshop? - OM
jjbouhon Posted June 24, 2006 Share #5 Posted June 24, 2006 Very interesting contrast in this picture. This emphasizes the lady's attitude. I just had a problem with your post and some others: the link doesn't appear in your thread, and I have to click on "quote" to make it appear... I'm on Mac OS 10.4.6 and Safari browser. Does somebody have an explanation? Thanks in advance
leicamann Posted June 25, 2006 Share #6 Posted June 25, 2006 Ditto I agree with Conrad..but I also feel that your onto something....may I suggest you go to more of these "dancer" events..keep shooting and soon enough..you'll "see" what I mean. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM

Thanks in advance Works fine here with an identical set-up, although Allan seems to have linked to an imageshack site, rather than uploading the image directly to here. I am sure that would be an explanation. Nice shot, btw, Allan.
abrewer Posted June 25, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted June 25, 2006 Thank you everyone for your comments! I am somewhat overwhelmed as this is one I've been holding onto for awhile wondering if it was "Leica Forum" material!!! I do intend to follow your advice John. I mean, pretty girls...dancing for you...good music...cool outfits...what's not to like? Thanks. Allan
