Hi Adalsteinn,

YOUR  lovely and amazing pictures are the reason that my bank account is € 1.000,- lower today:

My wife and me, we booked Iceland for July next year for a 3 ½ week bicycletrip! Wow, its a long time till July but we are very excited about the trip. Hope that the volcanoes will be quiet this time. Last time we had to cancel the flight because of the eruptions of the Eyjafjallajökull (is the spelling just as difficult as writing that name?). I will show some X2 pictures after that, because I sold my Q...

Thank you so much for your compliments and fantastic to hear that you will be going to Iceland next year (even though you are a few euros poorer because of that ;) ) I can promise you that you will shoot lots of pictures of the amazing landscape here, and even though we'd have another eruption here you would catch even more amazing shots! ;) Have a nice trip and enjoy the freedom of travelling around Iceland on bike. :)

Hello everyone - I'm a pro freelance photojournalist, doing most of my work and assignments for a "boutique" photojournalism agency in NYC called Polaris Images. I've had my Q for about a month. The the last couple of weeks, I've been able to use the Q on assignments shooting the Republican Presidential Primary Debate in Las Vegas and campaign events of Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz on days on either side of the debate. I'm a Leica shooter, since the early 1970s, and have used an M2R w 35/f2, and two M4s/w28/2.8 and 21/3.5 back in the film days. I traded my Leica M8 and 21/2.8 asph to get the Q. I mix with Nikons for telephoto and ultra wide angle (14mm and 20mm) pictures. I shoot only available light, and for these political events, it's mostly ISO 1600 and 3200, although the debate stage was well lighted, so i was shooting at ISO 800. I shoot DNGs and convert them using ACR in Ps/CS6.

Cheers,

Brad

I was a bit surprised to see an Air Ambulance land and take off on the rugby field in the middle of Regent's Park in London, today. I think it may have been some kind of training exercise.
