How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Thanks, David! I also prefer the red image rather than the more conventional one - but it was all a matter of accident and the particular firework!

I've actually posted it in the wrong thread, and will move it to the Q2 thread!

Close-up of the Hoba meteorite in Namibia.

Incredibly boring thing, but if you stand on top and speak, you feel a sort of vibration go through your entire body. Fascinating.

Leica Q2 Reporter Iso 100, f5.6, 1/250s

Taken at Henley Royal Regatta in the UK. We were on a 1905 steam powered launch. The smoke stack needs to be hinged down as you go under the bridges and the photo shows the brass work and whistle looking through the folded stack with the village of Henley and church in the background.
