Located a nice used Q, and took it for a quick walk today. 3 shot pano of a nice bit of wall art. Happy camper.

Clear night, cold as though, wanted to try the Q, and also the SL (separate thread) on the rising Milky Way from the backyard.

Couldn't work out how to get longer than 4 secs on the Q, so it wasn't all that successful. (I was shooting 75 secs on the SL)

Selecting 100 or 200 ISO may allow you up to 60 or 120sec. ...counter-intuitive I know 😎

Thank you Piran. Yes, did some research once inside in the warm. I like to use up to about ISO1600, or less. And with a tracking/guiding mount I've used exposures of the likes of 5 minutes (with my Fujis). I did try the SL as well with the 35/2 and the 60/2.8.

Not really what the Q was designed for I suppose.

Working on some Still Life over the past few months and used to the Leica Q to be able to post to the Forum.   Leica Q, ISO 100, 1/6 sec F/16.  Tripod was used.

Another image taken with the Leica Q. ISO 100, 1/8 sec at F/16.  Tripod was used.  I wanted to give the appearance as though it was floating in the sky.

Wally -

We enjoy telling people that we were caught in a blizzard on the equator.  Eventually we tell them we were on Cotopaxi at 15,000 feet.  You had a much clearer day (though once we descended below 14,000 feet it was sunny an clear).
