I could and did draw from an early age. My later reproducible artwork began when doing stone lithography then the USA military draft yanked me from freedom, so I found a vague similar form in photography which I could exercise wherever I was without carrying about stones and grease pens.

 

One of my first images that fit well into my lithography framework.

Not Leica but within my impoverished budget, a Petri 7 rangefinder.

I wanted to be able to draw but never was good enough to satisfy myself. I think that's partly why photography became so appealing to me. It might be interesting to see what these ladies could do with a camera.

 

 

 

That's a nice thought.

 

These people all have health difficulties of one sort or another, including acute memory problems. I shall think about bringing them an instant camera to use. I think they may get quite a kick out of that.

 

Thanks for the idea. Like most good ideas, it seems so obvious once someone else points it out!
