Tom Barry Posted February 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is the front entrance to a repurposed power plant in downtown Austin. The 1930s style was retained. The old plant now houses restaurants and other businesses. I liked the way the slanting sunlight struck the lightning bolt symbol. war Posted February 14, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2017 I noticed that you nicely captured the same lightning bolt zig zag shadow pattern on the stairs? Very nice Art Deco image.
Tom Barry Posted February 14, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted February 14, 2017 Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes, the stars align. I didn't consciously notice the pattern on the stairs as echoing the zig-zag of the lightning bolt. I was trying to make sure everything was lined up and squared away!
