roshuu Posted February 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a question - is there any way to jpg files from Leica M8 (v 2.024) reminded jpg Leica M9? Will exposure to -2/3, color: medium (example?)?Please help. I love the colors jpg with the M9. What can I set in my M8? Has anyone tried, maybe some settings will resemble the saturation of the M9? Advertisement Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Hi roshuu, Take a look here Color, contrast M8 as the M9?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tobey bilek Posted February 26, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 26, 2017 Photograph a color checker with both cameras. Adjust exposure in ACR or LR so grey is the same exact density. Best if they are close as possible in camera. open both in photoshop or even better continue in ACR or LR, measure the RGB squares for density, color, saturation in that order and adjust M8 to match RGB are the squares above white -middle grey Should work in Lightroom also. Save the corrections as a M8 preset and have LR always open M8 with that preset. Simple way, no. You will need to use uv/ir filter on the M8 otherwise you can not get certain colors right no matter what. greens & yellows.
roshuu Posted February 28, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted February 28, 2017 Only jpg, filters, uv / ir I have. I was able to increase the contrast and saturation to get a similar tone to the M9.
