I've recently got a Fisheye 16mm f2.8. The 180-degree view is interesting to me.

I must say I don't have good sense of using this great lens.

The one below is a better one that I have to courage to share here.

Please :p share your fisheye photos here and guide me how to make good use of the great lens.

I got  out  some  slides  last night  and  scanned  them . I  did not  fiddle  about  with the  scanner  , just pressed  the   button .

These  are  some of the   first pictures  I took  with the  16mm  in  December  2007 , using   Kodachrome 64  and  an  SL2 . The  aft  terrace of  Oriana  is  a lovely   spot and  can  be interesting to play  with the  shapes.  Two pictures  to start  . I  will  do some more later :

The  lens  can  be  good  for  interiors .  It   can   'bend' in the  edges of  a room .  Here  it is in a  cabin .

A  bit  more  extreme  I  tried the  lens in  bathroom on the  ship  which is a  small  room . I was standing  in the  bath  to take the  picture

Did you already try to defish a picture?

In Luminous Landscape the software ImageAlign was reviewed (long ago).

Also in Photoshop there is a possibility.

I often use the filter Adaptive WA for my linear pictures. There is a fisheye covering too.

I know, I should not manipulate the pictures of others. But is this a more "comfortable" version?

I only linearized the horizon. The wide angle look is there still.

A different approach to using a fisheye lens … which can be emulated using a manual focus fisheye if lens is stopped down and prefocused

I  like  the   straight  horizon ,  as   you  say  the    wide  angle   look is   still  there .

Wonderful   picture . I  am pleased  to  see  the   fish  eye  works on the    new SL .  Which  adapters   did  you  use  ?

Used to use Leica M-Adapter T and R-adapter-M in cascade, but shown vagnette when using large aperture lenses; finally settled on Novoflex LET/LER. I do not bother to buy the Leica R-adapter T as I only have less than 5 ROM lenses, not worth the while for the addition money.
