Ran a couple of tests @ my dealer's in Paris... I've always admitted having issues with color, and always agreed that I was not using my M240 properly. The M246 is actually my main camera.

As a result, I found all of my M10 tests to be "yellowish" and unfortunately disliked the outcome.

I would probably need more time and once again I'm no reference in photography and more specifically in color photography.

I'll probably wait for the MM10 :-)

Anyways meet my sweet Alix, here standing in front of a M10 with my Summicron APO 50mm, usually fitted on a M246, and converted in Silver Fx.

I don't know what it is about that photo, but it has a "digital" plasticy look to my eye. The skin tones look too flat, maybe.  I hope it's the conversion and not the M10. It's also slightly OOF.

At last, a sunny day in Washington to take the M10 out for a walk.  I continue to find that the battery life is fantastic, the ISO dial is very useful.  I'm not finding that the larger viewfinder eyelet has a positive effect, but that's just me -- I blew the focus on a larger number of pictures than usual.  I am really appreciating the subtle colors, compared to the M-240.  In fact, the shifting down in color vibrancy and the slightly darker rendition of images strikes me a little bit like the transition from the M8 to the M9.  Finally, since the M9 Monochrom, I think we've all appreciated just how flexible the files coming from Ms are.  The M10 files are incredibly malleable, and I wonder if there is some reason connected to this point that it seems to take LR on my Mac to bring up the image in full focus.  It is notably slower with these files, and I don't think the file size is much bigger than either M240 or SL, right? Here are some pictures from today.

Here is an example. First image is the Adobe standard profile and the second is the M10 Leica profiles. The Adobe profile is only available if you update LR. (no editing done to show the color differences)

BINGO - therein was my problem!  Glad you sorted it out.  The correct image looks the way it should!

Hi Adam, are you going back to the dark side with the M10. I bought a Pakon scanner recently for my color negs and as you know I am still in love with the MM1. I am very tempted by the M10, but I'm not sure I really need to spend that kind of money right now.

Abstract, you mean. I have been going off the deep end again lately. Today, I recovered two Fuji FP-45c negatives shot with an old Polaroid folder and shot and processed a roll of 120 Kodak Plus X that expired in 1977!!! And quite possibly all just to escape the temptation of that beautifully designed M10.
