Delicious, I like all of them.

By the way, all that was not inside the manual....😂 😁 😉

Good pictures.

Ok, that's given me the chuckle of the day....thanks!

But I did get the "real" manual posted to me by Leica after my moaning on the absence of one and believe it or not it was, still is, quite useful................

Some night shots from Barcelona - all M10 with 50mm C-Sonnar.

Thanks! I like the C-Sonnar very much. It is softer than the Summilux (particularly at the edges), and there is focus shift to deal with when shooting wide-open and up close. But it has a nice character and is ergonomically fantastic. It is also extremely hard to make it flare - which is the main reason that I prefer it for night shots over the Leica 50mm lenses that I have tried.

The "glow" is not the lens, but a diffusion filter. You can see the effect on the image in these two shots (aside from the filter, both shot with the C-Sonnar using the same settings):

I am exploring ways to try to recover some of the character of film images in my digital shots (in this case, halation). This particular filter is a bit heavy-handed for my taste, and I have ordered a weaker grade to try as an alternative.

I have frequent, short business travel to California, and was using a phone to take pictures of sunsets as I flew home.  The DSLR was too large to fit in my briefcase.  The M10, new to me, fits!  Nearing sunset shortly after our plane left San Francisco.

M10 + 50mm Summilux ASPH

Excellent image.  I love the 50 'lux.  Dare I say it?  OK, this photo IMHO is what the "Leica Look" should "look" like...WOW  🙂

A Brahmin ceremony in Bangkok. Haven't used this Summilux much, but like it's rendering — not too high contrast, which is god for the M10.
