And one more. I saw something similar in Holger Forst's Classic Cars gallery. Less compressed JPEGs here: https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-232Tmz/

This place is a bit addictive. Holger Forst's Classic Cars gallery inspired me to go back there.

Ooooh, a 166 MM Barchetta.  One of the loveliest Ferarris ever.  From around 1950.  Their prices, when they come on the market, put vintage Leicas and works of fine art to shame.  And they appear to be a lot of fun to drive.

Nicely themed.  Even his and her towels (or dress/shawl?) are blue and white!  You must’ve waited for a colour-matched couple!

Not sure if it’s the jpeg compression, but I can see some posterisation banding in the sky which detracts slightly.  I wonder if a filter has done this?

Looks like an Accuphase E-370. Like your style :) Best gear in my humble opinion.

Thank you! Bit of luck on my part...didn't have to wait at all, they just walked into the frame. Jpeg compression is the culprit here, no posterisation banding on the original size file

Three pairs from this place. Cleaned up the gallery in the link, too.
