tobey bilek Posted May 2, 2017 Share #122 Posted May 2, 2017 Camera same size so why change. If we know what lenses and what else is is supposed to fit and price point, you will get better answers.

No, no - the M10 is MUCH thinner. Besides, bags are a relatively inexpensive way to feed the GAS. AFAIC, any bag that provides decent protection and has the desired capacity for the occasion is fine, really. Well, except perhaps a blue crocodile one...
ErikP Posted May 2, 2017 Share #124 Posted May 2, 2017 The great Canadian photo journalist Louie Palu spent 2 years in Afghanistan using a pillow case for 2 body's and 4 lenses. Im not that spartan so I use this military spec shoulder bag with a photo bag insert. It holds my body, 5 lenses, battery charger/batteries, a 12" macbook air, and a notebook with a few pens. It also has the molle system so I can attach pouches on the sides and front. Its a great durable little bag. And it doesn't look like a traditional camera bag, thats a good thing. I have a green one and a desert coyote one. I also use s simple insert - put it into different bags /backpacks dependent on purpose. M11 for me Posted May 8, 2017 Share #130 Posted May 8, 2017 Arrived today....the shoulder belt is a bit slippy and so I decided to try out this pad: Question: Is this the ONA Bowery? If yes then I wonder: Does it carry 2 separate lenses besides the M10 with its lens mounted? This would mean an additional separator to separate the 2 lenses from each other. M11 for me Posted May 8, 2017 Share #131 Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) I come back from Wetzlar and there I saw this beautiful Bowery from ONA in dark leather. I think that it is new model. Stupid enough I did not buy it as i have difficulties to find it here. I should have tested how much it would carry. I would like to put into it: The M10 with mounted lens plus 2 separate lenses. Does somebody know if that is not too much? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! eujin Posted May 8, 2017 Share #132 Posted May 8, 2017 I bought the Bowery for my girlfriend a few years ago. It's a very small bag and depending on the lenses in question, you might have a tough time fitting it all in. If you want to have a lens attached to an M body, along with two other lenses, all would need to be rather small. It's more ideally suited to carrying one body with lens attached, with one additional lens. If you want to carry two extra lenses, you would need to stack them one on top of the other. The catch is that the Bowery does not come with a type of divider that would allow you to stack (Billingham has dividers like this, where there is velcro only on one end of the divider). Not sure about this new Leica-specific version, but the original Bowery only came with one divider, meaning you can only separate the inside into two sections. For reference, my girlfriend typically carries only a Fuji XE-2 with 18-55mm attached in the bag. I come back from Wetzlar and there I saw this beautiful Bowery from ONA in dark leather. I think that it is new model. Stupid enough I did not buy it as i have difficulties to find it here. I should have tested how much it would carry. pico Posted May 8, 2017 Share #133 Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) I stopped by a junque shop tended by elderly ladies. They sometimes have obsolete camera gear. The clerk looked at my military sling bag and said, "You look like someone who would appreciate an old bag." It's going to be weeks until my bit lip heals. . jip Posted May 9, 2017 Share #135 Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) I use a typical Herschel backpack and stick a Think Thank in there as an insert, nobody would ever think I've got a Leica S with 4 lenses in there, or as someone once told me: There he is again with his Herschel containing a brand new BMW, brand new BMW people would ask, my friend would then point out it's my camera backpack which holds my Leica S and lenses. Also it's flashy yellow so it's hard to lose. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! M11 for me Posted May 9, 2017 Share #138 Posted May 9, 2017 I think I saw that bag at the Leica store in Zürich I just phoned them and you are perfectly right. Thank you very much. They have the new dark brown which is simply wonderful from the look and from the tough. They don't have it on their Web-Site for a reason or another :-)
Magic Posted May 9, 2017 Share #139 Posted May 9, 2017 Question: Is this the ONA Bowery? If yes then I wonder: Does it carry 2 separate lenses besides the M10 with its lens mounted? This would mean an additional separator to separate the 2 lenses from each other. Sorry for my late reply - yes, this is the ONA Bowery Leica Edition. I just tried it out as you can see on the photos below: empty: this has to go inside (M10, Summilux 28, Summilux 50, Visoflex 020 and extra battery: with the Summilux 28 attached and the Visoflex unter the attached lens, there is plenty of space on the left: if you lay the Summilux 50 on the side, there is lots of space, maybe for 2 more lenses....but...difficult to get and you would have to either wrap them in cloth or in a small pouch: if you detach the lens from the body and move the devider a bit towards the M10, you can easily fit 3 lenses in but then, when taking out the camera, every time attach one of them...there would be space enough for a thin devider between the 2 lenses on the left:
