You just pumped a big bunch of excitement back into this thread. Great news and congratulations. I ordered on the 20th. Should be interesting to see how long it takes them to get to the 20th. I was told Leica is telling them another shipment is expected around the first of March but they explicitly stated they just don't know. Not to be a wet rag, but didn't they also say they expect a shipment at the beginning of February too? It's pretty obvious demand still outstrips supply. They called today to inform me that Leica informed them delivery would be the end of April. Not sure if that is approximate or reasonably firm. I would like to wait on Leica Miami since I have ordered from them in the past. And like Eesand pointed out, it gives Leica more time to address any bugs or issues. It does make me wonder if I am waiting that long, if the a la carte option will come into play by then so that I could specify the top plate engraving. Was expected to be in the March batch for the US, so better than predicted by my rep by at least a week. AFAIK, one of only two ordered and delivered via the shop (Englewood Camera. Littleton, CO).
