otto.f Posted January 15, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Good morning! In the majority of topics, we can see that after a while, people tend to get away from the original question or theme and associations and total irrelevant jokes and sometimes personal feuds are presented. I can sometimes judge for myself that the topic has been discussed enough and that no new information is likely to appear. Or I am not just that interested anymore in that topic. I would like to get rid of such a topic in the list of my Content. I cannot find a way to do this, does it exist? If not, could the moderators make such an option? At the moment I can click 'mark as read', but I can also click an 'x'. This last option seems void, it has no extra value than shortening the list by folding, which is already possible with 'mark as read'. Could we utilize this option to clear the topic from my Content? Advertisement Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Hi otto.f, Take a look here Cleaning up user's Content. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pop Posted January 15, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2017 "My content" is not the best place to do that. It's a list of threads where you contributed and a list of all contributions, respectively. Following a thread, on the other hand, does exactly what you seem to need, I think. On the page "My Settings" (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notifications) activate the check box "Auto follow topics I reply to". Use the page "content I follow" to remove topics ("unfollow") which no longer interest you (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=followed). Use the button "Toggle Edit Options" to show the check marks for each thread.
