Shot this with my then newly acquired yet lovely beat up M6 classic.

Expired Konica film and 50 cron.

Walked into a tailor shop and snapped one of his creations. Something about this capture that works for me.

thank you gentleman

Getting something pleasant on digital is fun.

Getting something pleasant on film just feels so much better IMO.

Not sure whether it is the added extra time before you see it, or different technique or pure mystery of it all haha.

I guess shooting digital just got so easy and predictable. You just kinda spray and pray.

And then sort of work in post at making it look a bit like film again. Paradox.

Wonderful.  Have you thought about giving a copy to the tailor?

Yes, we ended up chatting and hit it off warmly !

He is around 70 years old and has been in the business for the last 50 years.

We will remain in contact maybe for some more visuals. Fascinating character to say the least.

I am a cinematographer by day so thinking of shooting some moving images there as well maybe for a bigger than just a snap project

again thanks for looking

Hey guys, I’ve just purchased this lens for a good price. To make the long story short, it has some bubbles on the back element. I don’t have now the possibility to shoot on a digital camera but I will wait the results of my films soon.
do you know what those bubbles are?
I think that I will send this lens to a repair center ASAP.

      Hi,
I bought a 50 mm Summicron secondhand a couple of years ago. Judging from the serial number, I think it was produced around 2001 or so.
Anyway, I have noticed dark marks on some the aperture blades. Judging from the images below, can anyone tell if this is oil or something else? And whether or not it might affect image quality (and thus should be sent for repair)?
I'm not worried about the resell value as I intend to keep it. But I would like it to be in good condition as it is my most used lens on the Leica.
      Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I'm a new Leica user and bought an M6 Classic with a Leitz Summicron 2.0. The first roll came back blurry and I thought it was my shooting..then the second and third and so on. I sent my lens in to Keh (where I had gotten it) to be serviced and it came back with the same results. The images are generally overexposed when in very sunny conditions and all of them are very softly focused. I shot most of a roll at f16 and not one thing was in focus. I don't think it could be the lens, as it just came back from being properly adjusted so I'm wondering if it could be the body? I'm not sure what to do as I've spent my budget on this setup. I was going to send it in to get the VF upgrade because I was experiencing some flaring but that is not what is happening here. Any tips very much appreciated.
