A quick test with a well-built and rather impressive lens. Obviously slower than its bigger f/2 brother, but significantly more compact. And cheaper. One of the good bargains out there, although finding one in good condition may (as always) require a bit of patience.

Leica III & 35mm Hexanon UC f2 Limited edition black paint (2001)
Shot wide open in the first two shots and at f5.6 in the 3rd one.

I find this 35mm to have better rendering than the Summicron V4 and of course ASPH, while also being lighter and as small as the V4. And a bonus for those who use barnack cameras, it’s LTM and focuses to 0.9m instead of all other LTM lenses that only go up to 1m. Any fans out there? Don’t see pictures with this lens very often, so if anyone else has it feel free to share.

Pretty sure I did post a few pictures here a while ago, but haven't used this lens in a while. Thanks for the reminder.

Here's one that I don't think I have posted before.

M10 + Konica UC-Hexanon 35/2, ISO 6400, probably wide open @ MFD or thereabouts

I have this lens as well and even posted some samples in this thread, somewhere

At this point in time however, I seem to have more lenses than I have time for photography.
and I don't have that many lenses.

but you're quite right, a really enjoyable lens to use.

I'm quite sure I didn't post this one before
