wide open optical results (good/bad, subjective/objective) seem very dependent on light and subject.

This looks very much like an Entlebucher Swiss Mountain Dog. Is that so?

I thought so. We have two Entlebuchers, Salvo and Izzy. They are pets so require less exercise. We are in the UK but the dogs came from Aeschi Bei Spiez in Switzerland. Whereabouts are you based?
