Thought interesting how it rendered the lettering in the background. My final version I cropped tighter on the men.

That is so.. natural history.

So lovely, so gentle.

An unusual pic, another natural delicious picture...i love it! A print, i think.

Thanks Dave, 'natural history' is a lovely way to describe it. This little Welcome Swallow was discovered still firmly perched, apparently asleep, in the eves of the shearing shed....so not death-by-cat or other mishap.

Now, having sat for his portrait, he has joined my collection of found objects, he is so beautifully preserved that he will probably last forever.

Yesterday's morning walk about 1/2 mile from my house. Appears to be a traffic fatality; she was a little over 36" bob tail to nose; a larger than average female bobcat. M-240, Summicron II  50mm

Relaxing in the sun

Summicron-M 1:2/50 Version 4 from 1991 on Leica M9 – I sold my Summicron rigid, so this is my 50mm now. I like it - the out of focus is more neutral and not as full of character as the Summicron rigid (see my earlier post of the tulips).
