uncoupled, coated LTM-lens from Schneider from 1942, had to use the EVF, don't know what finder they intended to use formerly. Had to take the shot when cycling to the office as I had only this as a longer lens 😉

Ecar, could you tell us how the Komura 80/1.8 LTM compares to your Canon 85 1.8 LTM ?!

Thanks, best, JM.

Sure JM, although I haven't had the Komura long enough to form a proper opinion. In a nutshell, the Canon shows a fairly 'modern' (ie,, sharp and clean) rendering for its age, whilst the Komura clearly offers a more distinctive 'vintage' look. The Komura appears softer than the Canon up to f/4, due to its lower contrast. Also, the Komura's colours are visibly warmer and more saturated - and I actually find it more difficult to focus than the Canon, possibly due to focus shift (still need to investigate). To my eyes, the Komura may have a slight edge in the oof areas (it's an Ernostar design, a precursor to the Sonnar) - and, yes, it can produce some nice 'glow' wide open and in the right light. This pretty much sums it up so far. Here's another picture from the Komura on the M10:

I believe this is a 1950's Hudson Hornet. With Summitar 2/50mm (1948) and M4, on Portra 160.

If my memory is accurate the Hudson Hornet rear seat was curved, bow-like. My mother mentioned 'opera seating. I was four years old, so the impression is likely flawed.
