Albarracín (Teruel, Spain)

This is a 35-frame panorama (65 megapixel) of Albarracín, a very nice town in north-east Spain. The light wasn't ideal but I believe the final picture may be worth a look.

Nice panorama. Well done.

Only ~2MP per photo 65 MP stitched final image?

What focal length lens did you use for this?

Can you describe how you mapped out the photos with your tripod?

How long did photoshop (or whatever you used) take to stitch 35 photos

Thanks MarkP :-) As for your questions:

- Yes, as I do my panoramas handheld, I use to overlap the frames quite a lot. Nevertheless, the main factor for taking so many frames is that, as the final borders will be irregular and may impede cropping exactly the part I want, I use to get much more field that strictly needed.

- 28 mm, as stated in the post

- Never use a tripod, always handheld using a zig-zag movement. Artifacts happen in about 20% of my panos, and sometimes geometry of the image is not ideal but it's what I have. The real difficulty is the small buffer and slow data transmission of the M9: once a few frames are taken you need to wait for the buffer to clear to shoot the next. To reduce this a little I switch to compressed DNGs.

- I use Lightroom 6.x, and it takes about a minute, no more. I can make a precise measurement if you want accurate data.
