rbaron Posted May 5, 2017 Share #24 Posted May 5, 2017 Out of curiosity I just went to the manufacturer's faq (http://photosol.com/faq/) and learned: SHELF LIFEWhat is the expected shelf life of our products? E-wipe has an indefinite shelf life when kept in original package. upon opening, towelette should be moist. If not, discard. PEC-12® ; Eclipse; AEROclipse; E2 : if the fluid inside is clear, product is safe to use. If milky white – even slightly – do not use. (If you would like a source for E-2, we know of a supplier who still has some in inventory.) Sensor Swab Plus : discard PEC*PAD & ULTRA SWAB : indefinite when kept in original packaging . Seems my ltm lenses with M adapters don't work for Dust Detection. Hint was from Pop..thanks mate! I tried one of my few M mount lenses...90mm-C...and Dust Detection worked...yea! For some reason the cut-outs on the adapters signal no lens perhaps. When i get home I'll try some other adapters. But good to know it is a hardware problem...glitch. Like all of us we want "perfect working order". Thanks everyone for your help. Cheers...
