I love my MP

Recommended Posts

I wonder if a competent professional engraver can engrave a BP Leica and infill with white to match?

(Knowing nothing about it,) how hard can it be?

Michael we have in France Jack F who is an expert with not expensive cost

Modern M or old , all are superb after his work ...

look at these pictures "before" and "after" :

I became personally acquainted with Charlie Kirk years ago in Tokyo. He subsequently moved to Istanbul, where he documented the protests and had to dodge tear gas canisters & avoid police beatings. Don't imagine babying his gear was a high priority.

I always favor superstition with questions like this one. What do you prefer, the symbol P or the symbol 7?

MP of course. It keeps its emotional value and is in my opinion a more beautiful camera. The M7 is easier to put on automatic.. Both make excellent pictures ,but what did you really expect me other to say than: I love my MP... ;)  :)

Buy the M7. It has auto mode, I have a feeling it will suit you.

On the other hand, I don't have this feeling.. :)

Well, the easy available information on the net will tell you that the MP is all mechanic and independent of battery if you disregard the light meter. M7 has electronic shutter and auto choice for shutter speed. If the battery is empty, only 1/60 and 1/125 works.

thank you..if my issue is to work film than the camera must be 100% mechanical and not just half...
