Quick Leica M8.2 Question

Hi guys,

Recently I picked up a low shutter count M8.2 and I noticed when I use my SanDisk Ultra 32gb card and SanDisk Extreme 16gb card every couple shots(approx 5 shots) the camera will make a stuttering sound on the shutter, but when I use an old SanDisk 1gb card I can shoot full card about 60 shots and only get 1 stutter.

Any help would be appreciated...should I be concerned about the shutter or is this card related like I'm thinking.

I am shooting with a Minolta Rokkor 40mm lens.

Don't know what you mean by 'stutter', but I've owned two M8.2s (still one as back-up to M240) and never experienced a problem.  I hope you bought from a reputable dealer with warranty.  You might have them give you a new SD card to try, but if that doesn't work, return it; there are other good samples out there. FWIW, I've used SanDisk Extreme 4GB cards....although I now use Lexar 16GB cards in the M240.

Looking like it might be a random goof...my first leica so might have been user error as well.  I gave the battery a fresh charge and formatted all the cards ran through a good number of shots without any hiccups.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.  Will def be frequenting the forum through my leica journey.
