Advertisement Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Hi rijve044, Take a look here Leica M 10. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmahto Posted November 12, 2016 Share #2 Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) With picture. Picture shows a protruding lens mount. Maybe to make camera a little thinner. Edited November 12, 2016 by jmahto
jlindstrom Posted November 12, 2016 Share #3 Posted November 12, 2016 That looks like a photoshop.. preview lever, M240 style fn-button in front but then no video button and the iso-dial looks a bit silly in there. Why not just program iso into current thumb wheel as an option? Most of the things this guy is predicting for "M10" are actually quite uninspiring. SL/Q sensor with iso up to 50k, evf from TL, M9 size.. no reason for anybody to upgrade really. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

rijve044 Posted November 12, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted November 12, 2016 Click on the blue tap "FCC filling" and read Leica Medium format camera. On this page at top and bottom under Grants!!!!! Puzzling.

Tobers Posted November 12, 2016 Share #8 Posted November 12, 2016 I am very keen on having an ISO dial with visible markings on the camera (as opposed to using the rear thumb wheel). I find it very important to be able to immediately see ISO, shutter speed and aperture at a glance and the lack of a visible ISO is annoying on the current M. Looking at the pic, it seems that the ISO dial doesn't have enough labels on it to be realistic. It looks as though someone has pasted a PASM-type dial into the pic. Anyhow, I am very happy about there being a visible ISO dial on the top of the camera.
Peter H Posted November 12, 2016 Share #9 Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) M10 = M240 The next M would be M11 wouldn't it? Except it won't be. Plus... M9 size = M240 size. He's all over the place. . Edited November 12, 2016 by Peter H
horosu Posted November 12, 2016 Share #10 Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) The only way for Leica to make a thinner body (as many wish/have suggested) would be to have a protruding lens mount. I believe this is real Edited November 12, 2016 by horosu

The picture in the WiFi test report of a camera called Model 3656 looks genuine to me : https://fccid.io/pdf.php?id=3193286. But not so sure it's an ISO dial on top of the viewfinder.
colint544 Posted November 12, 2016 Share #12 Posted November 12, 2016 The top deck dial doesn't look big enough to show the range of ISO settings legibly. It's intriguing.
adli Posted November 12, 2016 Share #13 Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) Maybe the dial is there for test purposes only? And it looks like a modified M240 with an RF patch. Edited November 12, 2016 by adli
lct Posted November 12, 2016 Share #14 Posted November 12, 2016 Sounds legit indeed. Glad to have a preview lever again and the thicker camera mount would prove that the body can be thinner as expected. Not sure what's the point of an iso dial under the left thumb though.
rrdiaz30 Posted November 12, 2016 Share #15 Posted November 12, 2016 The top deck dial doesn't look big enough to show the range of ISO settings legibly. It's intriguing. Perhaps it could work. I also find this intriguing. ISO, 200, 400, 800, 16K, 32K, 64K, 100K
pop Posted November 12, 2016 Share #16 Posted November 12, 2016 Perhaps it could work. I also find this intriguing. ISO, 200, 400, 800, 16K, 32K, 64K, 100K 16k is 20 times more than 800. A small step for a man, but a leap for a camera.
johnwolf Posted November 12, 2016 Share #17 Posted November 12, 2016 The dial looks like it has eight positions. Personally, I'd rather it be exposure compensation than ISO. John

Kwesi Posted November 12, 2016 Share #19 Posted November 12, 2016 If it is indeed thinner, I hope it's not at the expense of battery capacity.
Tailwagger Posted November 12, 2016 Share #20 Posted November 12, 2016 Well, certainly nothing particularly revolutionary or utterly compelling so far. Certainly if the report of an upgrade to the SL sensor and TL-level EVF is the essence of the upgrade, there's not enough on offer to make me rush out to get in line. It will be interesting to see if there are subtler improvements that make the notion of upgrading more compelling, we'll see.
