LEICA Q for B&W photography

Recommended Posts

I've been using some of the B/W images straight from the camera online via the app.  This one slightly cropped using the phone's editor.

Wild turkeys are everywhere these days. Maybe it's because their natural enemy--the Pilgrim--is no longer around.

Ken. You are right. They are very prolific and seemingly with few natural predators at least where we live in Colorado. They also are very good survivors. Alert, quick to fly up to trees. There is a hunting season here, but I can pretty much hit one in the head with a stick anytime I want to. I never want to. I like watching them.

We have them in the East as well, of course. I was visiting someone in Newton, MA, who had a large bay window, and I must have seen 30 of them in his back yard--pretty much like the ones you photographed. Very territorial.
