Beaut pic Allan, lovely composition.  And the facets (faces) cut on the cobbles by glacial action, makes it for me.

Thank you Dave. There are so many ways to photograph Moraine Lake, this is but one; it’s such a magical place, it’s hard to not get a great scene there!

And the 21/2.8 pre-ASPH gets the job done splendidly.

On a tip, traversed a mile or so near my home into deep woods and thick brush to find a forgotten, deserted and long ago desecrated grave site from Revolutionary days. Captain John Graham and his family. This crypt top is worn and difficult to read, but states that Capt. John "fell asleep in Jesus". Surely there are more interesting discoveries here for another time.

M10 w/35 Summicron IV wide open. I missed this lens so much when I sold it that I had to buy a new one. This one is even nicer and better than the previous.

I just bought a 50mm Summilux Version 3 (1999) in beautiful condition, so today I've been walking around the neighborhood looking for subjects that show the Mandler Magic with the lens wide open. So far I'm happy with the performance, although the sharpness is not what I've gotten used to with the 50mm APO Summicron. I do much prefer the bokeh of the Summilux to that of the Summicron with both shot wide open.
