I've seen some of these pictures before and remember thinking how good they were. Thanks for sharing, these pictures make Autumn in Northern England feel almost tropical :)

Thanks, Robert.  Yes, after a few years of focusing on this type of shooting during our harshest blizzards, a collection of sorts has formed somewhat.

This thread is intended to be a home for them, and any others that people want to share :)

Here's another...

Some great images, but I think the one with the umbrella is quite exceptional.

Thanks, Gerry!

With that one under my belt I couldn't help my hunker down and milk the scene for all it could give :)

This one is absolutely great! I love the expression on the left-hand woman face. Well seen and A* for bravery facing those conditions.

Suddenly it is colour. I am not sure whether I like the colour, but then I have a constant battle with myself as to which way to go when I am shooting. That is why I enjoy shooting film as the decision is made BEFORE I press the button.

Ha, Ha, Gerry.  For me, the color puts you there in terms of culture and the times...

Another color... :)

Awesome! Pretty impressive how close you got :)

Personally I don't prefer color or B&W. With digital files there is always opportunity to choose the version you like it. For my taste, you always choose right in advance!

Matic

Thanks very much, Philipp and Matic.
