lm_user Posted October 3, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 3, 2016 Adapters exist. However - none will be rangefinder coupledso you will beclimited to zone focusing.
dpitt Posted October 3, 2016 Share #3 Posted October 3, 2016 90 mm R on M8 is madness, even on F11 you will not have enough DOF to guestimate distances. Remember that even the scales on the R lenses might not be as accurate as they are on M lenses. 35mm is on the edge of being useable without rangefinder coupling, but surely not wide open. The 19mm R lens I have is about the only one I can really use with the M8. If you could have live preview to focus like with the M 240 it would be an other matter. lm_user Posted October 3, 2016 Share #4 Posted October 3, 2016 (edited) You could possibly adapt to a viso iii and use that way. However - you will lose infinity focus All in all a bad idea. Sell the lenses and buy m ones. Or buy an sl to use the R lenses. Better yet - buy some folm and have fun Edited October 3, 2016 by lm_user
