squanmis Posted September 8, 2016 Share #5 Posted September 8, 2016 One of the best things about the "City", you can do your own thing and the rest of the world goes by. Periodically someone will give a glance. Nice series. John

fotografr Posted September 10, 2016 Share #9 Posted September 10, 2016 Very nice series. What I find amusing is the number of people walking by without even noticing her.
stuny Posted September 10, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted September 10, 2016 Geoff, Charles, Wonzo, Hank & Brent - Thank you. Most people didn't do more than glance at her, but several people with cell phones and tablets stood arced to my right shooting her.
Mark Pope Posted September 10, 2016 Share #11 Posted September 10, 2016 I suppose it's one way of passing the time while waiting for a connection. Personally, I prefer a coffee... Nice series Stuart.
stuny Posted September 11, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted September 11, 2016 Mark - Thank you. As Ned Beatty's police captain character says in the 1987 film The Big Easy, regarding the party atmosphere around a murder scene, you got to love this town. Consequently, I always carry my camera in my hand when in Grand Central.
StS Posted September 11, 2016 Share #13 Posted September 11, 2016 I couldn't do that, especially not while looking good at the same time Very well seen. Stefan

williamgm Posted September 12, 2016 Share #15 Posted September 12, 2016 Maybe she just has a very small apartment? As others have said, surprising how little attention it drew. Thanks for posting them! Geoff
stuny Posted September 12, 2016 Author Share #16 Posted September 12, 2016 Geoff - Thank you. However, it was clear she was putting on an exhibition. Had she really been just practicing yoga she'd have held her poses for at least 30 seconds (and up to 72 seconds) to get benefit from them, rather than just cycle from position to position with only the shortest pause. stuny Posted September 18, 2016 Author Share #20 Posted September 18, 2016 Geoff & Charlie - Thank you. Every time I leave my office (our building is conne3cted to Grand Central) I have my camera in hand. My favorite was a woman on the air in a bathtub.
