Great shots Hardy, Digby and Mark - nice variety in content and form. I start to recognise some of the statues through our shots. It really is an amazing location but perhaps I should have opened the thread to all of the Eastern Suburb cemeteries, they're all fairly well situated, feel free to add anything from anywhere. I have a lot of older stuff from Waverley but from a Sony body so NSFLF.

These are from that same afternoon, Portra 160, MP

It's a real bird hangout, Pied Currawongs and Nankeen Kestrels especially. I love the Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos two shots above Mark, great capture!

I think they did a flyby that afternoon but looking at my 135mm shots I only have one with any visible and too distant/blurry to be worth sharing. They'll be gone for the summer, back in the mountains by now too, maybe next year. :)

You get the prize for 'capturing' those Black Cockatoos Mark. They certainly were very elusive on the afternoon we were there and their flight was fast with sudden turns. Rather unpredictable.

You're right Richard. Once early on a flock of about twelve flew low and straight over head. A wide angle shot would have done it. I could only fumble with my camera. Didn't see them again. Definitely need to get quicker on the 'draw'.
