Louis Posted August 31, 2016 Share #8 Posted August 31, 2016 I like this shot so much that I tried to play with it a little bit!... It is absolutely stunning in B/W!... One of the best pictures I have seen in this forum for a long time! As some other members said, very "mystical", but also such a classical subject!... Something to frame absolutely! One of the best pictures I have seen in this forum for a long time! As some other members said, very "mystical", but also such a classical subject!... Something to frame absolutely! Thanks Louis, I've played with it in B/W myself, and agree. It's OK in B/W... But I still prefer the color version of it. It's something about the color palette in it that I think suits it well... I didn't play with her... but agree, pastel colors of the picture are probably important factor in overall pleasant impression! Matic

Matic There is absolutely no doubt that the colors are gorgeous and this shot is really fantastic. I love it as it is and I enjoy coming back over and over again! But as I have always been a big fan of B/W, I was very curious to see how it would work in monochrome. Honestly, I also love the "dreamy" atmosphere of the B/W version. This shot is so good that, IMHO, it works in both ways, giving different moods and feelings to different people. I hope you don't mind much if I allow myself to post it as I tried to explain above! But again... it's just my opinion. I'm pleased that you like my picture so much that you took the job of converting it to B/W.
