Hello, I just bought a Leica M 246. I am having a problem with the files in PhotoshopCC and lightroomCC. I can open the DNG and JPG files in ARC. Sometimes the ARC seems to disappear on the screen. When I try to use my plug ins like NIK, they are greyed out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. No difference. I have tried different SD cards. no difference. I have an SL and an MP 240 and a Q. I don't have that issue with any other camera. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

My M246 DNGs are handled properly in both Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC on my Windows 10 PC with the exception that Photoshop filters like the Nik Collection and Topaz are grayed out.  If I change the 246 image from grayscale to RGB then I can access the filters.  So in ACR just change the colorspace (at the bottom of the screen) to Adobe RGB and everything should work in Photoshop.  Since I normally access Photoshop through Lightroom I never noticed this.

Thank you so much. I spent so much time trying to figure it out. I figured it out about an hour after I posted the comment. I guess it automatically switched to Greyscale since ..that's what the image is. As soon as I switched to RGB, everything started working again. Thanks so much. Maybe someone else will have the same issue and this short thread will help. Have a great day and thank you for responding.

It is indeed a bit silly by Adobe to use greyscale as a default. RGB is much more flexible, it allows toning for instance. You can also use "mage" > "mode"  or "edit" > " convert to profile " in PS.
