hgh Posted August 19, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Recently the monitor displayed a warning "lens error". I wanted to know if their is a fix for that but both retail outlet and Technical Services at Leica requested the camera to be turned in. Anyone with same problem? papimuzo Posted August 19, 2016 Share #3 Posted August 19, 2016 Sometimes when updating the firmware, when changing the lens (a T lens of course) you can get the message warning you to wait before turning off the camera (probably a completion of the firmware updating with the newly attached lens). aseancat Posted August 20, 2016 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2016 mine had a blank screen or showing an F/0 for aperture with a non-responsive system menus; similar to a computer hanging operations; i figured due to "lens (T-Elmar 11-23)-to-body (Leica T)" contacts. was able to get the camera to normal operations after jingling the lens, but wary to do another lens dismount, so sent both body and lens in to Leica store for service; their preliminary analysis was a loose lens mount; that was 4 weeks ago, and no further updates on status.
