Iduna Posted August 17, 2016 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2016 Jayant, wow, what a clear shot! Admirable that the Telyt is providing such a brilliant detail as the rings. you can show your Picture on special astrophotography sites.
jmahto Posted August 17, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) Yes. I was surprised too. I thought I will need a longer lens but 400 was sufficient. The center of 400 Telyt is always very sharp. Edited August 17, 2016 by jmahto

Or you are talking about telescope? BTW, I am tempted to get Leica telescope-ocular to R to convert my R lens as spotting scope. Let me post in R forum to see if anyone has any experience. http://www.apotelyt.com/photo-accessory/leica-ocular

jmahto Posted August 30, 2016 Author Share #11 Posted August 30, 2016 V. KOOL. I'm going to try a digital 1600 with my V-LUX 114. Thanx for the motivation.I guess only challenge is focusing. I focused on moon first then pointed to Saturn and used 12 sec delay timer to avoid shake. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
jmahto Posted August 30, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted August 30, 2016 I use it with my eyepieces, no cameras for now. i got canon adapter for it.I am getting ocular tomorrow. With 400mm, I should get 30x magnification. Can't wait for the shipment.
jmahto Posted September 2, 2016 Author Share #13 Posted September 2, 2016 I am getting ocular tomorrow. With 400mm, I should get 30x magnification. Can't wait for the shipment. Really liked the ocular TO-R. With 80-200 Vario it works very well. Very clear and sharp view. It is just that 80-200 is on the heavier side with no tripod mount. Handheld gets tiring. With 400 Telyt I could mount the lens on tripod and was able to look at Saturn but the enlarged 1:1 picture is better than what I could see through the ocular.
