Then the rain showed up. Noah's ark style, angry rain, which flooded the feeble 20th century infrastructure. I returned home, not knowing if anything came out, but drenched and happy. Once again reminding me that photography can be like surfing. If you're frustrated at the ocean, (or in this case the street), when the waves don't come, you might just miss an opportunity.
