gvaliquette Posted June 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 9, 2007 Hello, Rui: Obvious question: It looks a lot like a doctored photograph of an R9 with the winder. No offense meant. Guy:eek:
marknorton Posted June 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted June 9, 2007 Don't tell me, your brother's girl-friend's mother's estranged second husband's cousin works for Leica and in a fit of pique, sent you this picture. Or perhaps you've been busy with Photoshop.

luigi bertolotti Posted June 9, 2007 Share #7 Posted June 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) IF there will be a R10, and with this look, could be no bad: I never had a SLR, but have always thought that R8/R9 look was terrible for a film camera: for a DSLR can be acceptable
stunsworth Posted June 9, 2007 Share #8 Posted June 9, 2007 Luigi, I beg to differ, the R8/9 is a fantastic looking camera, and if you've ever held one you'd realise that is is possibly _the_ most ergonomic SLR out there. No it isn't a body with a huge pentaprism stuck on top, but it's attractive on its own terms. The photograph is probably a fake, but this is what I'd expect the R10 to look like. Love the Leica R'ssssss. Ken.

krabat Posted June 10, 2007 Share #15 Posted June 10, 2007 Strange that it still has the switch to open the back <grin> Steve, it is clearly because the R10 will be equipped with an interchangable sensor...
Jamie Roberts Posted June 10, 2007 Share #16 Posted June 10, 2007 Um, aren't these just the shots Marc Andrew Williams (fotografr) mocked up in photoshop and posted to this forum some time ago? I think they are. I can't find the original thread, but someone here must have better memory than me! Marc--if you're reading this--it's interesting how stuff goes around and comes around on the 'net. If, BTW, they're NOT his, then Leica owes him a huge amount of design $$
