Thighslapper mentions that his 21/3.4 is miles better than the WATE at 21mm on the SL. Or is yours a different lens ? Maybe you can check with him ? Thighslapper tested the Karbe Leica SuperElmar 21/3.4, which is a modern fairly telecentric lens. It works well everywhere, although some claim that the WATE is slightly sharper on the SL.
