Well I was wrong when I said some weeks ago that I doubted if Leica would come out with a firmware update " in the near future ".

Happy to be proven wrong, it's not a bad firmware upgrade at all. Several things addressed on my bucket list and one or two I didn't wish for but happy to find here now..........Good job Leica.

Double tap on the display when previewing photos does magnify the picture. Is that 100% zoom or is it bigger? I could not find out the magnification in %. I would like to have it jump to 100% like I have on my Nikon. I  also hoped to be able to custom name user presets, hopefully in 2.5.

I'm having problems with the firmware update.  I download the file: "Q116_200.quf" I open it and the only thing I get is a bunch of optional software. Does anyone have the same problem?

Thanks,

Hektor

What are you opening?  You should just be copying that file to the memory card's root and then booting to it on the camera.  Sorry if I'm confused but happy to help if I've missed something here.

Don't try to open the file. Simply copy it to the root of an SD card and then follwo Leica's instructions which you can also download.

I set my camera in monochrome and DNG file only and it seems that now you can shoot FULL B/W DNG FILES...

Doesn't the camera always save RAW files as a color file & the monochrome setting only allows seeing the image in B&W in the EVF or LCD?
